Start with the right pricing tool

Have your details ready: fabric, finished width and height in inches, print colors, garment color, and the number of transfers you need.

Choose the formula for the material you will decorate. Each Formula page includes a Pricing section with a Choose Size menu. Select a size, then compare the quantity rows and color columns. You can also open the formula-specific calculator below.

Review the Formula page's recommended fabrics and application instructions before ordering. The Formula pages also provide a downloadable price list; use the live tools when comparing your current project.

What affects your transfer price?

Finished size and the pricing tier

Your design is priced at the smallest standard size tier it fits inside. Enter both dimensions at the size you actually want printed. Width alone does not describe the space a design needs.

For example, a 4-inch-wide chest logo and a 4-inch-wide vertical sleeve design can have very different heights. Compare the full width and height before assuming they share a price tier.

If the artwork sits just beyond a smaller tier, compare a slightly reduced version in the calculator. Check readability and placement before choosing the smaller size. See what sizes you can order for more about standard tiers.

Ink colors, white, and underbases

For spot-color artwork, count the inks that will actually print. A red-and-white logo uses two visible ink colors; clear areas are not an ink color. A white underbase is an additional production choice that can improve opacity on non-white garments, so include it when comparing estimates.

The Formula pages list stock spot colors and custom PANTONE® matching options. Stock spot colors are available without a color-matching charge; custom matching carries a fee. Check the Spot Color Guide when choosing inks.

Photographs, gradients, and complex multicolor artwork may be better suited to full-color CMYK printing. The Formula pages describe that option. Compare the appropriate print method rather than treating every shade in a photograph as a separate spot color.

Quantity and the total you will spend

Quantity pricing lowers the per-transfer price as an order reaches higher pricing tiers. Compare the quantity you need with the next available break in the applicable table or calculator.

A lower unit price does not automatically mean a lower order total. Multiply the price per transfer by the quantity, then compare the total and the number of useful extras. Use the current table for your formula and size rather than relying on a shortened list of breaks.

How to build a useful estimate

1. Match the material. Select the formula that suits your garment or bag.
2. Measure the finished art. Enter width and height in inches.
3. Set the print options. Choose spot colors or full color and include any white underbase. Select actual ink swatches when available.
4. Enter the quantity. Compare the price per piece and the total at nearby quantities.
5. Compare one change at a time. Try a smaller size, a simpler color version, or a different quantity so you can see what affects the estimate.

The same artwork in different ink colors

A color change lets you order the same design in another set of inks. For example, a team logo could be printed in red for one group and navy for another without uploading another copy of the design.

The calculator includes additional colorway quantities. Additional colorways of 300 or more pieces have no color-change fee; smaller colorways carry a fee. Review the estimate for your selected quantities. See what a color change is.

Gang-sheet savings. Individual-design convenience.

Before you quote your customer

• Confirm that the size, formula, inks, underbase, and quantities in the estimate match the job.
• Check any custom color matching, color-change, or artwork-service charges that apply.
• Review shipping and the final order details before treating an estimate as your complete delivered cost.
• For a finished garment quote, include your blank garment, pressing time, other job costs, and your intended margin.
